Meet Sally Kiernander     - Floral Designer and Owner of Allure Florist

Introducing a fresh new concept in floral design...

Hi...I'm Sally,

and I am bringing a wealth of extensive professional experience in all facets of the floristry industry to my new venture and aim to take Allure Floral Studio to new heights in floral presentation through my artistic and innovative designs. I have 25 years experience in all facets of the florist industry having done my training in Wellington and Auckland, a few of my career highlights being:

• Assisting with the floral arrangements for the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland
• Being interviewed twice by Maggie Barry on Maggie's Garden Show
• Being invited to be one of only a few Wellington florists to exhibit their work in the beautiful Old St Paul's Cathedral in 1999

I regularly research for the latest in international design trends to enable me to bring a strong focus on top floral innovation to enable Allure to offer a full florist service “but with a real WOW factor”.  My passion is to create and engage in the understanding of botannical art and appreciate the silent message of giving flowers and the many ways that they touch the soul.

Weddings

Weddings are my passion and specialty...and I invite prospective clients to...Come in...sit and relax...and..."Talk to me”... about their special day, and as the designer I am then able to focus completely on their wishes and as a result, their flowers will be truly unique.

Consulting time to suit prospective brides is free and includes weekends or evenings to suit and Allure has a consulting area set aside where clients can discuss their requirements and have my complete attention.

Corporate

It is a well known fact that flowers in a workplace environment help relieve stress and anxiety and they also add a welcoming and positive feeling into the office or workplace while also communicating an image of success in the eyes of your clients and competitors.

Sympathy

Flowers are a beautiful way to honor life...Giving flowers always provides comfort at such a sad time...I will make sure you receive all the time and guidance you need to help you with your choice of tribute.
